These rare cones were found wild in Mt. Shasta where they aren't supposed to grow (but they do!) They are very similar to the Grey Pine (pinus sabiniana) but the Coulter pine is larger and more colorful with hues of gold, red, and dark brown.
These cones are rare and I'm mainly collecting them to gather and propagate the seeds which are located between the scales. It's a passion project, so get them while you can!
