My childhood was filled with the magic of the Maine woods. My mother, a true free spirit and nature enthusiast, would lead us on forays for treasures like berries, nuts, witchy wooden burls, and fascinating forest finds. We'd return home with baskets overflowing, ready to create art or simply enjoy the bounty. Those experiences instilled in me a deep love for nature and a fascination with its intricate patterns.

As I grew older, the allure of the city called, and I spent many years immersed in its vibrant energy. But something was missing. I longed for the tranquility of the forest, the scent of pine sap, and the feeling of being surrounded by nature's gifts. Eventually, I found myself drawn to the majestic beauty of Mount Shasta in Northern California, where I've now been living for over two decades.

Despite my career as a multimedia digital artist and music producer, I've always been captivated by the natural world. The forest, with its textures, colors, and hidden wonders, continues to be my greatest inspiration. This passion led me to create Aphorial, a unique blend of digital art, forest finds, and handcrafted elements. It's a space where technology and nature converge, where the ethereal beauty of the forest meets modern design.
